Midnight Devil's Hour Snack Edition

Dining in the dark is an interesting concept for food enthusiasts, albeit a bit daring for those with food allergies.

Although it's not very popular to love bread these days, I absolutely refuse to give it up. Hmm, maybe why i am NOT a Hollywood starlet? This actually freaks me out way too much. A loaf of bread shaped like a human. Ew. I'll pass on this one, thanks.

What doesn't McDonald's get about makingfrench fries? It's 2 4 ingredients.Potatoes, Vegetable Oil and Salt and Vinegar. *sigh*

the dine-in-darkness thing is totally a trend here in nyc... gothamist had an article around halloween ("mystery aural performances?? yikes). i'm kinda intrigued... but then, i have no known allergies... i suppose i could just eat in darkness in my own damn house, eh? ;)

I think the idea is very exciting and a great way to have a unique and enhanced tasting experience without having the senses distracted. But i would be too freaked out about eating something i shouldn't. It seems like a great way for the waiter to fuck up your order. I suppose it's a place where you REALLY don't want to piss the waiter off.
